WALL SUBSIDENCE, VEGETATION CLEARANCE, WATER PIPE REPAIRS

The work on Newbridge Hill is likely to last a while.  31st October is the date on a very useful website:  roadworks.org for the latest information.

Commercial Street in the heart of the village will be closed from Tuesday 28th August to Saturday 1st September.  That’s to provide a new water service.

Newbridge itself will be closed for most of the day from Tues 18 September to Thursday 20 September from 0930 to 1630 each day – this is for vegetation clearance from around the bridge.  Devon County Council are responsible for that work.
