Bat Surveys – This summer

GCM recently put bat boxes up in trees at the bottom of King George V playing field (Bealswood Road).  We have now been invited to take part in a bat survey.

Bat Surveys – This summer:

“If you’d like to help us monitor an important GHB roost near Gunnislake then please get in contact with Ruth at the Devon Greater Horseshoe Bat Project asaprtesta@devonwildlifetrust.org. We would like to monitor a number of exits to the roost so need lots of assistance. The surveys are part of the National Bat Monitoring Program roost counts and there will be two surveys one in the week of the 7th and 13th July and the second the week of the 14th and 21st July. Exact dates will be confirmed shortly beforehand. No experience or equipment required.”

You are warmly welcomed to get involved.
