|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on September 11, 2019 at 10:30 am

Come and join in with a wildflower meadow event. The Tamar Community Trust and the bat project are joining up to organise this practical volunteer task day.

You will learn to use a scythe to help manage this newly established wildflower meadow. The location is by a beautiful stretch of the Tamar Trails at Morwell Barton. Wild flower grassland surrounded by woods are important hunting grounds for greater horseshoe bats. This lovely meadow next to the Tamar and very close to an important greater horseshoe bat maternity roost is no exception. Come along to hear more about why wild flower meadows matter.

Morwell Barton, but meet at the Tamar Trails Centre, PL19 8JE
