Police Contact Info – Summer 2020

Devon & Cornwall Police are launching a summer-long campaign to help reduce demand on their 101 non-emergency number.

During the summer months, the force sees a considerable increase in demand on the contact centre. The campaign aims to remind residents and visitors to the area that should they need to contact the police and it’s not an emergency to go online and ClickB4UCall.

By visiting our website – https://www.devon-cornwall.police.uk/, anyone wishing to contact us with non-emergency queries or reports can easily do so by using our online contact methods – Webchat, Report Online and AskNED.

Webchat – allows you to talk directly to the contact centre staff, just the same as calling them. It’s simple and easy to use and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Report Online – if you want to report a crime or tell the police about something that’s already happened and it’s non-urgent, simply fill in the details on the online form (https://services.devon-cornwall.police.uk/crimereporting/) and then once submitted your information/crime report will be logged.

Email 101 – any queries and reports can be emailed to 101@dc.police.uk

AskNED – our online directory provides the answers to all your non-emergency questions. Visit https://www.devon-cornwall.police.uk/contact/ask-ned/ enter your question, select your location and AskNED will provide you with the answer.
Please can you share this information with your visitors and staff.

We have created a poster to support the campaign. This can either be downloaded from our website and shared digital, or printed and displayed in your premises.

To view, download and print the poster – https://www.devon-cornwall.police.uk/resources

Please also find the poster attached – https://alerts.dc.police.uk/images/site_images/63209_ClickB4Ucall_this_summer_poster.pdf

Thank you very much for your support.
