ST ANNE’S CHURCH COMMUNITY MEMORIAL GARDEN

In need of weeding

This community memorial garden has lovely shrubs and plants donated by people in this community – in memory of their loved ones, whose names are on the plaque in the garden. If your family gave a donation (or anyone keen to get involved), come and join us in a serious tidy up on Tuesday 12th July from 10 a.m. for a few hours. This is in preparation for the next round of judging for the RHS It’s Your Neighborhood award. As a village, we have been award the Outstanding title several times and you may have noticed the road signage about it.

Wear your old clothes, bring whatever gardening hand tools you may have and a bag to collect weeds; a kneeler might be helpful. And if you’d like to bring a flask or bottle of drinks and a cake or biscuits to share that would be great.

Any questions, ring Lorna Baker on 07785 966593. Look forward to seeing you. (The church hall will be in use that day, so parking will not be possible in the church car park. Village car park a short walk away.)
