The first ever Gunnislake St. Pirans Day Festival is fast approaching on Saturday March 3rd in the village hall, as announced by the front page of the East Cornwall Times today:

As well as local craft and produce stalls and refreshments there is a great line-up of events planned for the day, the timetable for which is as follows:

11am Festival Opening by our local town crier Hilary Fairhurst

12-12:30pm Rosie Fierek and the Rubber Band feat. Cornish Dancing

1-1:30pm Interactive Cornish storytime with Mrs. Tellatale and her piano playing poodle

1-2:30pm Sea shanties and vocal harmonising galore with a performance by The Last Watch

1:30-2:45pm Raffle prizegiving with amazing prizes kindly donated bu local businesses
