NEWBRIDGE HILL, GUNNISLAKE is going to be CLOSED
On Sunday 11 December 2022, Newbridge Hill is scheduled to be CLOSED from 0700 to 1600. It looks like it is for works by Open Reach. When this road is closed, the recommended diversion route is generally 32 miles long.
Over the next two months, there are also several planned sets of temporary traffic lights due to be installed for 3 day periods around the centre of the Village.
December Community Walk
Gunnislake River Walk led by Father Christmas and finishing at The Cornish Inn for mince pies from 12noon.
Christmas Carols around the village
Meet at The Cornish Inn at 6pm to sing some carols then onto The Rising Sun Inn for 6.45pm for mince pies and refreshments.

The walk includes a steep climb and uneven ground. wear suitable footwear. Well behaved dogs welcome.

ST ANNE’S CHURCH COMMUNITY MEMORIAL GARDEN spruce up
This community memorial garden has lovely shrubs and plants donated by people in this community – in memory of their loved ones, whose names are on the plaque in the garden. If your family gave a donation (or anyone keen to get involved), come and join us in a serious tidy up on Tuesday 12th July from 10 a.m. for a few hours. This is in preparation for the next round of judging for the RHS It’s Your Neighborhood award. As a village, we have been award the Outstanding title several times and you may have noticed the road signage about it.
